I Pick Losers

I always pick the loser. In my lifetime I can remember one time where the team/person I was rooting for won, and that was when the Sox finally won the World Series. Besides that, nada. In sports I am a Boston fan, but not very dedicated about it. I don't think the Pats' wins at the Superbowl count if I wasn't even into it enough to watch it.

Politically, I like the Dems. I wasn't much interested yet in politics back when Clinton first ran and the next time, when I was interested, I realized my curse and threw my support to the candidate I liked the least: Perot. I worked for the Dem in the last CT gubenatorial race, and he lost. I supported Bill Bradley in the 2000 primary and then Gore in the final race. I supported Dean in 2004 and then reluctantly Kerry in the final race.

So yeah. I supported the Seahawks tonight and we all see what happened there. So I am questioning how much good my support actually does. Perhaps I should support the people I want to see lose. Look what happened when I supported Perot, after all. So I'm beginning to wonder whether I should continue to work for the candidates that I support or else throw my support to the one I want to see lose.

Because I pick losers. In sports, in politics, and in love.

Hey Tina,

I am clever! - Read your latest post, im sure that's not true - Kay isn't a loser (well he is i guess) but he's adored by quite a few.

Who have you picked recently?

Is there a reason your posts only have two or 3 words on each line? They're pretty hard to read.

Love Anon

Anon, I knew you were clever. Well, okay, I did not know but I hoped this was the case. Don't know why my posts seem to have only 2 or 3 words on each line to you. No one else seems to have this problem.

I hope you don't hear the above line very often.

P.S. How do you know that I wasn't talking about some other Brit that offered to psychoanalyze me? Perhaps I get that offer all the time.

I never hear the above line you were refering to, im fully functional in that department.

The blog problem thou is weird, Kays blog is fine, but urs is not...

Im guessing you don't know that many brits, so thats why i think you were talking about me.

Also - and this is the clincher. You said a brit offered yesterday. That yesterday was the day i offered.

Damming Evidence...

Yes the blog problem is intriguing. I will have to put it out to others and see if they ever experience this.

But you got me on referring to you. No wiggling out of that one anymore I suppose. I have only picked one love interest since the Big X. And yes, he turned out to be a loser.

I find because of my commitment issues that sleeping around works best for me right now, though I suppose I can't take this approach forever.

As a side note...

Don't we all?

Do you find sleeping around makes you happy?

Whos the Big X? i havent read far back enuf to see if hes mentioned....

Also are you 23 or 29 or older?

Don't we all what, Dan? Pick losers?

Anon, I was 29 last year. I prefer not to say the age I am this year but to refer to it as 29-again.

I will post about your other 2 questions today probably. It's too complex to answer in the comments section.
